About Favianna Rodriguez
Rodriquez grew up in Oakland, a culturally rich city in California, living in a vibrant Hispanic neighborhood. However, Rodriquez would move to Mexico City to live with her Aunt for two years, where she would be inspired by Frida Kahlos murals. Upon returning to Oakland, Favianna became active in organizing protest against the discremantion many Latino’s would face in the United States.
