About Me
Who am I?
I am a Senior at the College of Staten Island, majoring in Communications, with a concentration in design and digital media, a minor in corporate communications, and a minor in journalism. However, I’m also a line cook at Shake Shack, hoping to make everyone’s day a little better with every dish I send out. Although concentrating in design and digital media, I actually want to pursue a career in public relations.
Besides, being a student, I’m also a person with a ton of different interests. Most people don’t know this, but I’m a pretty big hockey fan, rooting for the Edmonton Oilers and my home town New York Rangers! In addition, I’m also a bit of a gear head with a passion for cars and the proud owner of a 2001 Honda Prelude. I’m fortunate enough to say that I was able to buy my dream car. Although, I like hockey and cars, I also like some more relaxing stuff like skateboarding, and playing Magic the Gathering, with my friends afterwork.
Automotive
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, I was still in high school and had just gotten my permit, but I did not know how to drive. It wasn’t until my junior year of college that I got my driver’s license because I had gotten discouraged after failing my driving test once after high school.
However, it was during the pandemic and high school that I began watching Donut Media. Like many people, this was my introduction to the car scene, with personalities like James Pumphrey running Bumper 2 Bumper, I learned so much about cars and their history. It was the B2b video on the Honda Prelude that made me fall in love with the forgotten Honda.
After finally getting my driver’s license, it took me less than a week to go out and buy a Honda Prelude I found in Toms River.

New York Rangers
Believe it or not, the New York Rangers were not the first team I found myself cheering for. However, they were the first team I knew about. Growing up in NYC I had always known about the New York Rangers, always seeing the logo and always hearing about them. It wasn’t until the 2024 playoffs that I really became a fan. My friend had invited me to a watch party at MSG and I had the pleasure of watching the NYR beat the Carolina Hurricanes to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Despite the rollercoaster of the 24-25 seasons, I’m still rooting for the Rangers no matter what. I have the pleasure of saying that I have been fortunate enough to attend four Rangers games this season, and even take my cousin and girlfriend to their first Rangers games.
Edmonton Oilers
The Edmonton Oilers were the very first team I found myself cheering for, but it could have very easily been any other team. The Oilers were playing the New Jersey Devils, and in case you didn’t know, I can’t stand New Jersey, only because I get stressed out driving in NJ. Naturally, I cheered for the Oilers to beat the NJ Devils, so I got to see the Oilers beat the NJ Devils and go on a historic 16-game win streak. However I didn’t immediately become a fan, but it was only after learning about Stuart Skinner’s interesting path to the NHL. Beginning as a backup goaltender and then being thrown into the starter position, when things sadly did not work out with Jack, soup, and Cambel. Moreover, I learned about Skinner’s struggles with mental health but admired how he sought out help and bounced back stronger than ever after a bad game. I truly became a fan in the last month of the regular season and then got to witness the Oilers historic playoff run.
